Our Beliefs

*The Bible to be the inspired Word of God, totally free from error in the original manuscripts, our final authority in matters of faith and conduct.

2 Tim.3:16-17

*There is one God, revealed in three persons: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Heb. 9:14; Matt. 28:19

*Man is sinful by nature and practice, but through grace can be restored to fellowship with God.

Rom.3:23; Eph 2:8,9

*The only way for man to be right with God is through faith in Christ alone, whose sinless life and saving death were for our redemption.

Rom. 10:8-10

*In the essential deity and true humanity of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lived on earth; died on the cross; rose from the dead; ascended to heaven; and will soon return in person.

Phil. 2:6-11; 1 Thess 4:16

*There is only one true Church, under the sole authority of Christ, comprised of all believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, and recognizing neither ecclesiastical nor sectarian barriers.

Eph. 1:19-23; Gal. 3:28

*In the Christian ordinances of believer’s baptism by immersion, and the Lord’s Supper.

Mat. 28:19; Luke 22:19,20

Our Mission

To honor God by working together to reach people with the Message of Salvation, and to teach us all to be devoted followers of the Lord Jesus Christ. We envision Kelowna Bible Chapel (KBC) to be a healthy local church that shows concern and care for each person, from the youngest to the oldest. Sacrificial love is our aim.

We want to see KBC grow in numbers by people being saved, baptized and fed spiritually.

We want believers enthused about serving and encouraging each other, and reaching others with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our aim is to have people work and serve willingly and effectively.

We envision a church where problems and conflicts are resolved quickly, quietly, and without gossip. Our aim is to live harmoniously for God’s glory.
